Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Society for a term of two years with half of the Committee retiring each year. Retiring Committee members are eligible for re-election. 

Committee members are not paid for their voluntary work for the Society.

The general functions and powers of the Committee are:

• To control, administer and manage the property and affairs of the Society.

• To carry out, effect and perform the objects of the Society according to Constitution.

• To engage contractors, tradesmen, advisors or any other persons in order to carry out the functions of the Committee and the Society.

• Prepare and approve budgets and expenditure and to recommend the amount of levy to be fixed for the Members in order to carry out the objects of the Society.
